Food tour "Taste of Florence": Local breakfast, Market Tour, Wine Window Sip and cheese tasting

Join us at 9:45 AM in Piazza della Signoria for an unforgettable walking food tour through Florence, where history and flavors come together in a perfect blend. 

We’ll start our day the Italian way, with a typical Florentine breakfast, savoring a freshly baked pastry and a rich espresso or cappuccino at a local café.

A short walk will take us to one of Tuscany’s historic olive oil producers, where we’ll indulge in a exclusive olive oil tasting, learning about the production process and the nuances of this golden treasure. 

Next, we’ll head to one of Florence’s traditional salumerias, where we’ll sample a selection of Tuscan cured meats, such as finocchiona and prosciutto and a local main course.

Our journey continues with a truly unique experience: a wine tasting at one of Florence’s historic “buchette del vino”—tiny Renaissance wine windows used for centuries to serve wine directly to passersby. Here, we’ll enjoy a glass of chianti classico wine, immersing ourselves in this fascinating tradition.

After a short stop in the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce, we’ll make our way to one of Florence’s most authentic local markets, a favorite among locals. Here, we’ll taste a variety of Italian cheeses, from creamy pecorino to aged Parmigiano Reggiano, while exploring the vibrant stalls filled with fresh produce and regional delicacies.
